First Time Visitor
Welcome to FBCJ! We are delighted you decided to visit our church and ministry. At The First Baptist Church Jeffersontown, it is important to us that you have everything you need to know, as a first time visitor.
On this site you will be able to view our service times, contact details, and other important information.
Below are answers to many frequently asked questions from our first time visitors:
What can I expect?
Visiting any church, especially a larger one, for the very first time can be a tough experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to First Baptist Jeffersontown will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home”!
Do you offer child care / where do I take my child(ren)?
Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children two years old and under. Mothers will receive a pager number so that the nursery attendants can easily contact you if there is a need. Children three years old through sixth grade experience a fun, friendly, and Bible-centered children’s church. Our desire is to make church exciting and memorable for your children.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at FBCJ for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in traditional “Sunday” dress; however, we want you to feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here.
